Product Promotion: McDonald's Iced Coffee

Sampled the new McDonald's Iced Coffee at high traffic events and venues throughout the NY Tri-State area such as: Rye Playland in Westchester County, NY; PNC Arena in Holmdel, NJ; Jones Beach/ Nikon Theatre in Long Island, NY and NYC's Central Park Summer Stage Theatre and 21st Annual 116th Street Festival in NYC. This massive multicultural event exposed McDonald's Iced Coffee to almost 1,000,000 consumers.

Moderne Promotions re-introduced McDonaldsLATENIGHT.com. thru high-profile Nightlife and Concert Events in the NY Tri-State Market with headliner names such as LL Cool J, Jonathan Peters, Kelly Clarkson, and Marc Anthony. The McDonaldsLATENIGHT.com Branded SUV transported photo crews and provided brand presence, particularly at the 2006 Hot Import Nights Car Show at Shea Stadium in Flushing, NY. McDonaldsLATENIGHT.com Brand Ambassadors engaged consumers in conversation about McDonaldsLATENIGHT.com and took souvenir branded photos. These photos where then retrieved on the web site. In 2 months time we generated tens of thousands of branded photos with over 1 million hits to McDonaldsLATENIGHT.com.


Product Promotion: McDonald's Spicy Chicken

In February 2006, Moderne Promotions was able to associate the product with the hottest nights, at the hottest nightclubs (3,000-9,000 + attendance) with the hottest talent in today's multicultural music. Throughout Washington DC, Northern VA and MD, Moderne Promotions changed the perception of McDonald's in the young adult market as a brand that can be fun and relevant. At Photo-Based Brand Avtivation events, teams of Red Hot Spicy Chicken Brand/Photo Ambassadors, circulated throughout events posing consumers for a free commemorative event photo with the Red Hot Photo Ambassadors. Branded retrieval cards were given to each photo group that directed them to www.McDonaldsLATENIGHT.com where they retrieved their branded souvenir photos by downloading. Over 20,000 hits to the website were generated within one week.


Product Promotion: McDonald's Premium Roast Coffee

In March 2006, Moderne Promotions sampled thousands of cups of hot, fresh McDonald's Premium Roasted coffee to TCM at high-traffic commuter locations on weekdays and high-profile events (St. Patty's parades, etc.) on weekends within Metro NY and NY Tri-State. Branded coffee crews equipped with Jet-Pack backpack dispensers and appropriate condiments canvassed key locations during morning commute hours throughout the area.


Brand Promotion: McDonald's

Through the "i'm lovin' it" campaign, McDonald's wanted to create relevant music/entertainment connections to the "young adult" target audience while driving awareness to their late night extended hours ("We're Up, When You're Up.") In tandem with MPG/Arnold, Moderne Promotions created "Headliner Entertainment Events" at the summer's best nightclubs from Southampton to the Jersey Shore and throughout the East Coast. Tens of millions of very targeted impressions per event were generated via radio, direct mail, e-mail, street teams and web sites. The target relevance was evident as hundreds of retail receipts offering discounted admissions were produced per event! Late night sales were up approximately 7%.

Moderne's second year promoting the McDonald's "i'm lovin' it" campaign brought together a mix of nightlife, lifestyle and event marketing to reach the client's goal of branding their "i'm lovin' it" Late Night theme to a core target of multicultural young adults. Moderne's "are you MAC enough?" event series ran throughout the East Coast. Events included "are you MAC enough" DJ challenges featuring the nation's hottest DJ's; "are you MAC enough?" Latin Dance Challenges; branded photo activation programs at GreekFest, NYC's premier African-American summer music/beach festival; and a 3-day, 50 venue "Big MAC" branded photo street team blitz throughout the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Tri-State region. Events featured and were pre-promoted through McDonald's branded laser light shows, videos, radio promotion, websites, direct mail, street teams, promotional models, merchandising and more.

In conjunction with the Photo Based Brand Activation program, teams of "i'm lovin' it" LATE NIGHT Brand Ambassadors brought the experience directly to the target. Consumers pose with the lovely ambassadors and are given branded retrieval cards directing them to their photos on www.McDonaldsLATENIGHT.com. The commemorative photos, bordered with brand message, were then downloaded, printed and e-mailed to family and friends. Collected valuable consumer data, created excitement onsite, drove traffic online and provide consumers with branded keepsakes that deliver impressions well after the actual event has ended. Almost 4,000 Photos delivered over 40,000 hits to the website and almost 200% of the photos taken were downloaded!!


Product Promotion: Gillette M3 Power Patrol

Pierce Promotions wanted to provide Gillette with a nightlife extension. The national tour gave exclusive opportunity for the target to experience the power of the M3 Power shaving system first hand. The nightlife extension provided the M3Power Patrol the opportunity to explain the features and benefits of this revolutionary razor while demonstrating it's "vibrations" at the best nightclubs throughout the country.


Brand Promotion: Lorillard Tobacco

Out to reach smokers over the age of 21 for Newport, Lorillard tapped Moderne for a nocturnal campaign in 21 and over clubs. Within two months, we sampled to tens of thousands of smokers in Newport's top ten markets while collecting valuable data on consumers for use in future marketing.

Online Sports Book Sought to focus on creating and executing programs specifically for targeting the best sports bars and tailgate parties in all NFL cities. Reaching primarily male audiences with our Nightlife Ambassadors increased brand awareness through sports interaction and the game experience. Hundreds of new website visitors were generated from each event.


Brand Promotion: Budweiser Select

Budweiser Select wanted to get their beer into the right hands inside the East Coast's best on-premise accounts during the summer of '05. Moderne Promotions arranged for beautiful unbranded Brand Ambassadors to purchase beers for the target audience to taste and compare, while giving away premium keepsakes. The program generated thousands of sampling impressions and new Bud Select converts!
